WAUPACA COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Authorities say a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the lower abdomen by a 23-year-old man, causing serious injuries.
The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that officers got a 911 call Thursday night around 11 p.m. in the Clintonville area town of Matteson.
The Sheriff's office said the 23-year-old also had some injuries. The victim remains in the hospital at this time in stable condition.
This is considered an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger, the Sheriff's office said. Names are being withheld at this time due to an on-going investigation.
