Appleton woman with interlock device arrested for 5th OWI

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (NBC 26) -- An Appleton woman who police said had an interlock device was arrested for her 5th OWI.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol, a trooper saw 2013 Ford Edge drive past him Wednesday morning with the horn honking and the hazard lights blinking. This was reported on Highway 441 at Oneida Street in Winnebago County.

After pulling over, police say 53-year-old Tina Berton indicated her Ignition Interlock Device was indicating a violation.

After conducting a field sobriety test, Berton was arrested for Operating Under the Influence 5th offense.
