Appleton Police searching for armed robbery suspects

APPLETON (NBC 26) -- A Boost Mobile store in Appleton was reportedly robbed Friday afternoon, police said. Officers are searching for two suspects.

According to Appleton Police, officers were dispatched to the Boost Mobile Store in the 600 block of W. Wisconsin Ave for a theft complaint. When officers arrived, an employee told them that two males had entered the store, robbed them, and ran out of the store.

Police used a K9 and a drone to search for the suspects, but police said officers couldn't find them.

The first suspect was described as African-American male, approximately 5’6” with a “chunky” build, who was wearing glasses. Police said the clerk observed a gun in his back pocket.

The second suspect was described as an African American male with a lighter complexion, approximately 6’4”, and also wearing glasses. Both males were wearing masks.
