Appleton Police say man tried to lure runaway into human trafficking

APPLETON (NBC 26) -- Appleton Police have arrested a man for two counts of human trafficking.

Police say Theodore B. Givings of Milwaukee was arrested and taken to the Outagamie County Jail for Human Trafficking and Trafficking of a Child. Police say investigators had been investigating Givings "for a significant period of time."

According to Appleton Police, Givings is accused of trying to lure a juvenile runaway into human trafficking. Police say the second charge of human trafficking is for an investigation involving an adult in the Fox Valley area.

This case is under investigation.
