Appleton Police investigate property damage, says there may be more victims

APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton Police is investigating a series of property crimes that happened Monday night around 11 p.m.

According to a news release, the incidents took place in the City Park neighborhood including the 300 block of N. Union Street, the 200 block of N. Park Street, the 100 block of N. Drew Street, and the 300 block of N. Lawe Street. Property crimes include broken windows and vehicle damage.

Police have arrested a suspect, however the person in custody is being treated for possible mental health concerns, so they are not identifying the suspect at this time.

Appleton Police believe there may be more victims with similar damage. Owners are asked to inspect their property. Police say if you find any new damage, you are asked to call the Appleton Police Department via the non-emergency phone number of 920-832-5500.
