Appleton Police are investigating a Monday incident at Erb Park.
One person was hurt in a shooting and was taken to a hospital, according to a news release.
Police got the call to a disturbance at the park, along North Morrison Street, at approximately 4:30 p.m. and arrived to find a person who had been injured and several people fleeing from the park, the news release said.
One person is in custody and police believe the victim was targeted, police said. It is not believed the community is in danger.
A previous shelter in place affecting people in the area was lifted earlier Monday night.
