APPLETON (NBC 26) -- An Appleton man has been charged with first degree intentional homicide for the death of his mother.
Court records say 38-year-old Bradley Boetcher attacked his mother and fractured her skull before going on the run.
In February, the body of Lee Ann Dorn was found in the apartment she shared with her son. Two days later, Boetcher was arrested in Kentucky after allegedly stealing a vehicle that belonged to his mother's boyfriend.
Friends reportedly told officials Boetcher was schizophrenic. He's currently in jail in Kentucky. No court date has been set for the homicide charge.
