FOND DU LAC COUNTY (NBC 26) -- American flags have been stolen from communities in Fond du Lac County, the Sheriff's Office said Monday.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office says authorities have received multiple reports of American flags stolen in and around the village of Campbellsport. Additionally, the Sheriff's Office took a report that over the Memorial Day Weekend, 15 flags that were placed on the graves of veterans in the Empire Cemetery were also stolen.
The Sheriff's Office said it's currently unknown if the thefts are related.
A reward of $700 dollars is being offered to anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for stealing the flags.
