MILWAUKEE -- Police have confirmed they're investigating tips that 2-year-old Noelani Robinson may be in Minnesota, TODAY'S TMJ4 has learned.

The Milwaukee Police Department is working with federal partners in the search. An active AMBER Alert remains in place.

Authorities say Noelani Robinson may be in the company of a relative, friend, or acquaintance of Dariaz Higgins.

Earlier in the night, the man wanted in connection with both the AMBER Alert and a homicide was taken into custody by police.

Dariaz Higgins was arrested just before 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 5200 block of North 103rd Street.

The AMBER Alert was issued for Noelani on Monday night, and police said Tuesday that Higgins, the suspect in her disappearance, was also responsible for the shooting death of Noelani's mother, Sierra Robinson.

A second suspect was arrested with Higgins for aiding a fugitive. Police say they continue to use all available resources to locate Noelani.
