UPDATE: As of 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, the Menominee County Sheriff's Office says it is still engaged in an "active law enforcement incident" along with multiple other law enforcement agencies.
They say the incident stems from a search warrant executed this morning.
Neighbors are advised to avoid the area of Spirit Island Rd. in Keshena. The sheriff's office says the area is restricted and "not permitted for everyone's safety."
As of this post, law enforcement says there is no timeline for a resolution of the incident.
