DE PERE (NBC 26) -- Packers running back Aaron Jones will visit with registered participants and volunteers for any 2019 Festival Foods Turkey Trot at the De Pere Festival Foods, 1001 Main Avenue, from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Festival Foods states in a news release that participants must bring proof of race or volunteer registration to meet Jones; only one autograph and photograph per person will be permitted.

Cost of registration for the 12th annual Festival Foods Turkey Trot, currently $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 17 and under, will increase Nov. 1 and again on Nov. 27. All participants receive a high-quality long-sleeved T-shirt at registration and a free Festival Foods pumpkin pie at the finish line.

The Festival Foods Turkey Trot, which raises crucial funds for the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club, will begin at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 28, in 10 locations across Wisconsin. As the state’s largest running event based on registered participants – more than 32,500 in 2018 -- the run/walk has raised over $2.5 million for YMCAs and Boys and Girls Clubs since it began in 2007. All funds raised stay in the communities where the events are held.

Locations this year are Appleton, Eau Claire, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Janesville, Madison, Manitowoc, Marshfield, Oshkosh and the Coulee Region (La Crosse/Onalaska).
