Sturgeon spearers are out on the ice for the third day of the season.
So far this season on Lake Winnebago, there have been seven juvenile females harvested, as well as 38 adult females and 29 males.
DNR officials say, at this point, it's clear the season on Lake Winnebago will last the full 16 days.
On the Upriver lakes, there have been 16 juvenile females harvested, as well as 31 adult females and 77 males.
DNR officials estimate the season on the Upriver lakes may go 16 days as well.
The largest fish harvested on the second day of the season was 143.3 pounds and 80 inches long. It was registered at Wendt's by William Thern.
