NEW LONDON, Wis. (NBC 26) — New London Police say a 71-year-old man is dead after falling in the Wolf River and drowning Saturday.
According to the report, police were dispatched just down river from the Shawano St. Bridge around 2 P.M.
Officers say several citizens helped pull the man from the river before police arrived.
Police say life saving measures were unsuccessful.
No other information has been given at this time.
