In a rush to wrangle a sturgeon before the season's end, anglers speared 50 lake sturgeon from the Winnebago System on Friday.
The largest fish registered was 109 pounds at Payne's Point by Eric Nygaard, bringing the season total to 674.
Only two more days to go in the 2020 season. This year's sturgeon spearing season ends Sunday.
