MARINETTE — Alliance Industries, Inc. has given a formal layoff notice for its plant in Marinette, located at 301 E. Russell Street, which is expected to shut down on September 1.
22 people will be let go, Alliance Industries says in a WARN notice to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
Alliance Industries says while the plant is expected to close in September, it may close sooner.
DWD says it will offer services to help workers affected by the closure.
