13-year-old boy facing attempted homicide charge in Grand Chute shots fired incident

GRAND CHUTE (NBC 26) -- A 13-year-old boy is one of several people facing charges related to a shots fired incident in Grand Chute earlier this week.

Police said officers investigated multiple shots fired in the 800 block of South Timmers Lane in Grand Chute on Tuesday. Police said Thursday the investigation has led to multiple arrests.

Grand Chute Police said a 13-year-old boy was taken to a secure detention facility on recommended charges of attempted 1st degree intentional homicide and robbery.

Additionally, a 47-year-old man was taken to the Outagamie County Jail for a probation violation. According to police, a 15-year-old boy was taken to a secure detention facility on a recommended charge of party to the crime of robbery; an 18-year-old man was taken to the Outagamie County Jail on a recommended charge of party to the crime of robbery; a 27-year-old man was also taken to the Outagamie County Jail on a recommended charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide.

Police said a person was hospitalized after the incident with gunshot wounds. That person has since been released from the hospital and was taken to the Outagamie County Jail.
