MARQUETTE CO. (NBC 26) — One person is dead and two injured after a motorcycle crash Sunday morning.
It happened on Highway 23 west of County Road AA in Marquette County around 10:30 a.m.
The Marquette Co. Sheriff's Office said a 67-year-old Portage man driving a motorized bicycle was turning left into a property along the highway. That's when he crossed paths with a motorcycle driver who was unable to stop in time and the vehicles crashed.
The Portage man died from the crash. The motorcycle driver, a 57-year-old man from Baraboo had non-life threatening injuries; his passenger, a 57-year-old female was flown to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Wisconsin State Patrol will continue investigating the crash.
Names are being withheld until family members are notified. No further information was provided.
