APPLETON -- John Botsford is about to get the chance of a life time. “I've never been to Austria I've never seen the mountains he says.
John is a Vietnam Era Veteran, living with diabetes and pancreatic cancer in his bone.
For 20 years, he’s had one dream: To go dance in the Keiser Palace and bring in the New Year.
After his doctor told him he had one year to live, John never thought it would happen.
But with the help of a local man, Terry Irwin, John will be living out his dream.
“After watching them dance it just tore at my heart strings.” Says Terry.
But Terry decided to do something about it. After watching John and Eunice dance at the Mid Day Women’s Alliance Ball, he spoke with John. Later surprising him with two tickets on his dream trip.
“I’m excited… this is something I never thought would happen” Says John
If you would like to help Terry and John, Terry has set up a go fund me account to make sure John and Eunice don’t have to spend a penny.
