Neenah-Menasha, WI -- The Fox Cities Marathon is coming up and one local man is gearing up for his 26th run in the race.
At 66-years-old, Henry Rueden has run in every Fox Cities Marathon.
He has also run 1193 marathons to date.
Henry has run a marathon in every continent, even running one on the Great Wall of China.
He says the Fox Cities Marathon is unique because it takes you over many bridges and through several municipalities.
Henry says the experience is about more than winning.
"You get your group of people you get to talk to and you get to visit. The group I run with, we're not going to win anything. We're out there to enjoy ourselves and enjoy the scenery and hope the day is reasonable," said Henry Rueden.
The Fox Cities Marathon is Sunday, September 18 at 7 a.m.
The marathon starts at UW Fox Valley in Menasha and ends in Riverside Park in Neenah.
