Oshkosh Area Humane Society reports an increase of abandoned animals are being dropped off at its location over the last week.
Five dogs and a cat were left at the shelter since Thursday without talking with shelter leaders. "Information from the previous owner is a very important part of helping the animal;" OAHS Director Joni Geiger tells us. "We ask questions about medical history, behavior and their likes & dislikes."
The humane society recommends calling the staff at 920-424-2128 if planning to surrender an animal.
