A picture circulating on Facebook with those sharing it locally claiming to be a bar on Mason street.
But the business doesn't exist in Green Bay for social media expert Jena Landers it could do some damage.
The business is actually in Joliet, Il where there's a large biker gang problem and locals understand the term colors to mean gang affiliation.
The post traveled to Green Bay Police who were asked to investigate.
Captain Warych being show the photo saying it was another business in Green Bay, this time a liquor store. But that business as well, was not the one in the picture and had no sign.
Police now also urging you to fact check
A lesson for many that what you see on social media can't always be taken as law.
That business in Illinois has since apologized on its Facebook page for the confusion the sign caused and has also taken it down.
