Local bakeries are busy right now making green and gold goodies for the Packers playoff run.
Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe in De Pere is creating cakes in the shape of Packers hats and cheese heads. There are plenty #12 cookies as well in honor of Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Even the employees get to ditch their usual uniforms to show their support.
"They get to wear their Packers gear. Everybody's just in a really good mood. We'll make green and gold buns and bread. It just gets to be a lot of fun," said Owner Mary VandeWalle.
Friday and Sunday will be the bakery's busiest days when fans are buying Packers sweets to share at the office and at their playoff watch parties.
