Little Chute Elementary School is closed due to a natural gas leak in the area. According to Fox Valley Metro Police, there was a ruptured gas line on McKinley and Grand Avenue.
All students have been evacuated to the Little Chute Village Hall at 108 W. Main Street. Parents are asked to pick up students there immediately. All after school programs have been canceled according to the Little Chute School District website.
As of about 11:15 a.m., the leak was stopped and now the pipe just needs to be repaired, according to police.
