According to a post on the Fox Valley Metro Police Department’s Facebook page, they responded to an apartment fire at 3650 Cherryvale Ave. Tuesday evening.
Police believe the apartment was struck by lightning during the storm. No one was hurt.
The Little Chute Fire Department and Kimberly Fire Department responded and are working to stabilize the situation which appears to be contained to the attic.
Residents from eight apartments will be displaced for the night and The Red Cross is working with the families.
