Bon-Ton stores began their liquidation sales Friday. They will last about 10 to 12 weeks.
The liquidation involves 212 stores and furniture galleries including Younkers at Bay Park Square Mall, Fox River Mall and other locations in Northeast Wisconsin.
All stores must close by August 31st, according to court documents.
About 300 workers in Northeast Wisconsin are among the 20,000 nationally that are losing their jobs.
