Christian music festival Lifest returned to Oshkosh Thursday, July 6 for the 19th annual event.

Tens of thousands are expected to visit the Sunnyview Expo Center during the four-day festival, and more than 100 artists, performers and speakers will be there to take part.

The "party with a purpose" began Thursday. The four-day event includes a blood drive on Friday and Saturday and a 5K Fun Run on Saturday morning.

"The great thing about Lifest is the success starts with the people," said Dave Romenesko with Life Promotions, who organizes the event. "It's really the staff that we work with. It's thousands of volunteers that do an amazing job that help get this ready."

For a full schedule of events, visit the Lifest 2017 website here.

Tickets are still available for the event. Full event tickets are $72 for adults and $36 for kids ages 8-15. There are also group rates and single day tickets available.

Tickets can be purchased at Festival Foods ticket outlets across Northeast Wisconsin.

Parking is available for $20 for the entire event or $10 per day. Overnight parking is not allowed, but there are areas for camping. Campsite prices range from $65-$435. More information on the campsites can be found here.
