LGBT Students asking for change

LGBT Students at Lawrence University are making demands for a more inclusive campus. Students met with administration over concerns of discrimination in academic facilities on campus. The students requesting there be more gender neutral housing and bathrooms on campus. Vice President of Student Affairs Nancy Truesdell says they want students to feel welcome to express concerns and are working to figure ways to fix the problems. "Our goal is that all of our students feel that this is a place that they are welcome that there included and their voice is heard," said Truesdell.
