The Appleton Christmas Parade is Tuesday night.

City leaders are reminding you to be mindful of safety rules in place when if you're reserving your spot on College Avenue.

An ordinance makes it illegal to block sidewalks. The city is changing its lost item policy as well. Items will be donated without a 3-day window to recover them.

They also ask that your chairs and items do not block park spaces, and allow drivers room to exit their vehicles.

It's the 46th year for the annual Downtown Appleton Christmas parade.

This year's theme is "Christmas Lights on Parade."

The parade features about 80 entries, including floats, decorated vehicles and animals.

The parade begins at 7 p.m.
