Graymont will idle lime kiln operations at its Green Bay facility June 1.
Slowing markets will force the company to layoff roughly two-dozen employees. About a half-dozen employees will stay on to help convert the facility to a bulk hydrate and terminal operation.
The company will close other facilities in the state of Washington and will idle another plant in British Columbia.
The site will be idled until market conditions improve.
