A police search for a man has come to an end early Wednesday morning in Brown County.
Sheriff's deputies said the man had been armed at one point in the night and fled.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department received a call around 7:30 p.m. regarding a suicide situation.
Law enforcement agencies blocked off an area near the intersection of Highway 57 and Mill Road in Greenleaf for several hours Tuesday night.
Deputies said a man in his mid-twenties was armed with a shotgun, but his parent was able to convince him to put it down.
The man then took off running.
Officers said the man was suicidal.
The sheriff's department said the community was never in any danger.
