A large crane was put on the roof of The Trout Museum of Art to promote an upcoming exhibit.

The ORIcursion exhibit features original origami created by artist Robert J. Lang.

It's part of a community art project called "The FLock" which will include hundreds of small paper cranes assembled into a large installation piece that will hang in the museum's atrium throughout ORIcursioin.

Friday morning the large crane was placed on the roof by a large crane truck.

The crane is 21 feet from beak to tale, 22 feet from wing to wing and 17 feet tall. The crane weighs more than 3000 pounds.
