A new bill looks to make the sport of kickboxing safer. The bi-partisan bill that would extend mixed martial arts regulations to the sport of kickboxing passed the State Senate today on a voice vote. The bill is in response to the death of 24 year old Dennis Munson JR. of Milwaukee, who died from injuries he suffered in his first kickboxing match in 2014. The bill now heads to the Assembly.
