Kenosha man dies in snowmobile crash

A Kenosha man has died and another man was injured following a snowmobile crash in Saint Germain, Wisconsin.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Department the crash happened just before 11:00 Saturday night.

Deputies were dispatched to the snowmobile trail near the Rustic Manor in Saint Germain.  When they arrived they discovered 62-year-old Jeffrey Schultz of Kenosha had hit a utility pole on the snowmobile trail.

Schultz died at the scene.  His passenger, a 43-year-old Saint Germain man, was taken to Howard Young Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.

According to records from the Department of Natural Resources this is the 15th deadly snowmobile crash of the 2016-2017 season.
