UPDATE: The gas leak at River View Middle School was found, repaired and the building is now safe.
Per Kaukauna Area School District's school safety plan, River View students were transported by bus from their safe sites to Kaukauna High School. Students will be transported back to River View to resume their school day. The district expects dismissal and after-school transportation to run as regularly scheduled.

KAUKAUNA-- River View Middle School in Kaukauna is under evacuation because of a possible gas leak.
The school district says at 8 a.m. staff were alerted to a potential gas leak.
Students are being evacuated to nearby safe sites. All students are safe.
The district is in the process of evaluating the facility and will update as soon as they can.
