Police say a Kaukauna man was seriously injured after his car crashed at high speeds into a gas station in Grand Chute.
It happened just before 9p.m. Thursday night at the Kwik Trip off Mall Dr. south of the Fox River Mall.
The 23-year-old driver was the only one in the vehicle.
Grand Chute Police tell us that witness on scene thought car was traveling around 100 miles per hour.
The driver ran a stoplight going northbound on Nicolet Dr. before crashing into the Kwik Trip.
Police don’t know if alcohol is a factor. A vehicle inspection will be done at a later time.
The investigation is ongoing.
NBC26 has made calls to Kwik Trip but at this time we do not know if the store will be open this morning.
