A 7-year-old Kaukauna girl doing well after being hit by a car on the way to school earlier this week.
Her family shared this photo of the firefighters who helped her out that morning.
The Kaukauna firefighters say they were happy to see a patient doing well after an accident.
"It's nice for us, you know, like I said, we don't get to see that very often," Kaukauna Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Chad Gerrits, "So to see her smiling and talking is a lot different than when you see them at the accident scene."
Her family says she is expected to make a full recovery.
