Jury finds Mastella Jackson guilty in homicide case

UPDATE: The jury found Mastella Jackson guilty of first degree intentional homicide and bail jumping Wednesday evening.  A Jan. 5 sentencing hearing has been scheduled.

After more than four years and a journey to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, jury begins deliberations in the Mastella Jackson homicide case.

Jackson is accused of stabbing her husband Derrick Whitlow in a Grand Chute hotel in 2012.
 
The case has taken years to come to trial after several decisions and appeals on statements Jackson made.
 
The jury heard about a weeks worth of testimony before beginning its deliberations.
