Some Fox Valley communities are ready to celebrate Global Running day – with a twist.
Fleet Feet co-owners Lean and Jeremy Scharpiro have asked Appleton, Kaukauna, Menasha and Neenah mayors to get involved.
All four communities will host events Wednesday, June 1 to get people running. Families are encouraged to incorporate running into their daily routines by enjoying walkable trails, parks and waterfronts.
The mayors of each city have also signed proclamations making June 1, 2016, “All4RunDay.”
Activities in the area will be part of a coordinated effort including 162 Fleet Feet stores in 38 states and the District of Columbia.
