A judge ordered a public defender Wednesday for a 20-year-old Manitowoc man charged with homicide after a drunk driving crash.

Zachary Potts faces three felony charges, including first degree reckless homicide, after he allegedly drove drunk and crashed his car into a tree in De Pere in November 2016.

A passenger in his car died from injuries in the crash.

He's due back in court Wednesday to complete his initial appearance.
