Young of Combined Locks seeks 3rd District seat

Posted

Combined Locks – Josh Young has announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination to Wisconsin’s 3rd assembly district seat after the retirement of Rep. Al Ott.

Issues the Young campaign will focus on include the economy and furthering job creation, K-12 education with funding increases and alternatives, state budget and tax reforms and Constitutional governing.

“Wisconsin needs a fresh approach to solving the continued problems we face as a state that divide us unnecessarily," Young said. "We need to return to a government that is of, by and for the people and only beholden to those same people."

“Wisconsin has a bright future and needs to come together at the table to put aside partisan differences and work together to make this future a reality for us and for our children,” he said.

Young lives in Combined Locks with his wife and three children. Josh works in the insurance field and previously ran for office in 2012.
