Help may soon be coming for the workers facing layoffs at Brillion Iron Works.
Fox Cities Regional Partnership, in cooperation with the Fox Cities Workforce Development Board, is planning a job fair that connect workers at the plant with local employers facing shortages.
Manny Vasquez, of the FCRP, says manufacturing jobs are in high demand, and believes those at the plant could use their skills in new positions.
The group is currently looking for employers to partner with for the job fair, and plans to survey workers at the plant to get a better view of their skill-sets.
