In just the first ten hours of fundraising for a firefighter killed in the line of duty, more than $84,000 has been raised to help his family.
A GoFundme page has been set up for the family of Sun Prairie Fire Captain Cory Barr, who was killed Tuesday night in an explosion caused by a natural gas leak in the downtown area.
One of the more notable contributions, a $10,000 donation from Pewaukee native and NFL star J.J. Watt.
