A jet skier is safe this morning, after being stranded on Long-Tail Point in the Bay of Green Bay all night.

The Sturgeon Bay Coast Guard station was tipped off just before 8 Thursday morning by a fishing boat, who saw the man flagging them down.

At this point, they say it's still unclear if the jet ski ran out of gas, oil, or had an engine issue.

But the man didn't have a working cell phone, and officials say the man had been stranded since 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The man was rescued by a Sturgeon Bay Coast Guard boat, which brought him back to the Fox River dock with non life-threatening injuries.
