JANESVILLE -- A man was found shot in the face, died in the hospital Sunday morning.
Officers were sent to Franklin Street for the reports of shots fired.
The victim was rushed to Mercy Hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police are conducting a search warrant to collect evidence from inside the home.

We are told at this time, no one is in custody. Police believe the suspect likely knew the victim.
An autopsy is scheduled for later today and news conference is set for Noon at the Janesville Police Department.
