A Packer player took time on his day off to help a local girl's wish come true.
James Jones teamed up with 8-year-old Maggie Hendrick of Appleton to create a holiday greeting card.
The card was sold to raise money for Wisconsin Children's Hospital and Make-A-Wish.
They donated nearly $5,000 to the charities.
Maggie is a Make-A-Wish child herself, having been diagnosed with leukemia.
“I mean, whenever I can help, and cheer a kid's day up, especially one that's going through something, you know, bigger than what we even face every day, it's unbelievable," James Jones, Packers Wide Receiver.
"They're doing the same thing that I’m doing, and I, and, like, I always like to put a smile on people's faces when I can, just like James Jones," said Maggie Hendrick.
As for Maggie’s wish, she's still hoping for either a trip to Hawaii or a chance to meet Jimmy Fallon.
