On April 3, Green Bay Police responded to the Islamic Society of Wisconsin, 1512 Velp Ave., for a reported burglary. This burglary involved the theft of electronics and money valued at $415. The investigation into this crime has led to charges of burglary and theft by fraud being sent to the District Attorney’s office for a 19-year-old Howard man.
An anonymous witness provided information that led investigators to the 19-year-old man. Without this information, police said the case would be unsolved.
The public is encouraged to take note of property by noting serial numbers on electronics, as electronic items are commonly taken for financial gain, according to police. Having serial numbers recorded help officers track stolen property and increase the chances of the location and recovery of stolen property.
