Investigation continues into Fond du Lac man's death

Posted

Fond du Lac Police are still investigating the death of a man who police say they found in the middle of the road.

On October 3rd, police say they found 32-year-old Joshua Farr unresponsive on the 800 block of Grove Street. They took him to the hospital where he passed away eight days later. Police say the cause of death was damage to the head.

NBC26 spoke with Farr’s mother Thursday morning. She says her son was a drug addict, and this is the second time her son received head damage

She says the first time, somebody assaulted Farr, and believes the same thing happened again. Police would not confirm at this time whether Farr’s death is a homicide.

"At this point, we’re trying to determine what happened to Mr. Farr, what caused that head injury,” said Fond du Lac police officer Steve Klein. “And how he ended up on the middle of the road on Grove Street."

"He's a caring person, everyone's got their own addictions,” said Katherine Farr, Joshua’s mother. “And unfortunately, he just couldn't kick his because it was too available to him."

Right now, police are ruling Farr’s death as suspicious. Farr’s mother says he was in the hospital for eight days on life support before passing away.
