UPDATE: Saatio has been found and is being held in the Santa Rosa County jail.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A man who escaped a jail in Upper Michigan, and was later spotted near Green Bay, has gotten away for a third time.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says John Wesley Saatio escaped from a transport van in Northwest Florida.
He was traveling in a van being driven by a private transportation company.
A short time later, Santa Rosa County sheriff’s deputies found Saatio in a field and wooded area. Two makeshift handcuff keys were found in his socks.
He is now being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail where he remains under close watch.
He is facing charges of escape and possession of a handcuff key.
Saatio first escaped custody in June of 2015. At that time he was seen in the Green Bay and Suamico areas.
Just last month he briefly escaped custody in Costa Rica after he was captured there.
