GREEN BAY - There will be an increased police presence on Webster Avenue in Green Bay for 'active shooter' police training on Tuesday 28th, 2016.
It will be taking place at a vacant building at 215 N. Webster Avenue starting around 10 a.m.
Green Bay police say that in light of past and more recent situations throughout the United States and abroad, this type of active training is a priority for the police department.
Officials say they want to give officers a realistic look and feel of what they would potentially face in an active shooter situation.
Officers will also be able to provide feedback and recommend additional training to better their response.
