The immigrant rights group Voces de la Fontera will be holding a rally today in Milwaukee in reaction to President Donald Trump's executive order on family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The group believes the President's order doesn't go far enough.  Executive Director Christine Neumann-Ortiz said, "This executive order does nothing to address the moral crisis that is happening right now... it actually continues this process of indefinite detention."

Neumann-Ortiz says in many cases family members from countries like Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras are trying to make it to the U.S., even Wisconsin.

"It’s an issue that impacts us here in Wisconsin as well, with families that have ties to people at the border who are trying to reunite with their families and flee violence," said Neumann-Ortiz.

The group expects hundreds of people to attend today's rally in front of the Milwaukee US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office.
